Creating a lasting change

At Final, we believe that success is measured not only by financial gain, but also by the positive change we can bring to the communities in which we operate. Based in Israel, we focus on creating sustainable impact, building lasting partnerships and empowering the communities around us.

That is why we have chosen to invest significant resources and concerted efforts to fulfill our commitment. To achieve our ambitions, we partner with local stakeholders to identify needs, and co-create solutions. We also utilize our people’s outstanding problem-solving skills and drive to make a tangible and lasting difference in our communities.

We are proud that the majority of Final employees are actively involved in a variety of volunteering activities. They bring their own initiatives to the table and take an active role in the decision-making process that brings their ideas to life. We are happy to support and encourage their desire to give back, knowing that together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Our long-term commitment to social impact
is based on 4 fundamental pillars:

1. Empowering Positive Change in Local Communities

Our goal is to help communities facing social and economic challenges attain substantial and long-lasting improvement.
We pursue it through community partnerships, investments in resources, employee volunteering, and close collaboration with local municipalities and associations to amplify the impact. This community approach has become the core initiative of Final’s social impact activity, forming what we call our Place-Based model.
The first long-term project was launched back in 2014 in the Yoseftal neighborhood in Petah Tikva. This “cradle-to-career” program was designed to build local infrastructure, enabling the neighborhood’s residents to reach their full potential.
By joining forces with local and national partners and aligning goals, resources, work plans, and measurements, this comprehensive approach has resulted in significant improvement in the quality, accessibility, and utilization of social services within the community.
Over the years, we observed a remarkable positive shift in residents’ sense of solidarity, belonging, pride, personal safety, and trust in public institutions.
After gradually handing over the day-to-day responsibility in the Yoseftal neighborhood to local authorities and community leadership, we are now implementing this successful Place-Based model in the Shimshon neighborhood in Ashkelon.
Together with local partners, Shimshon residents, and Final’s volunteers, we continue to develop local infrastructure and invest in this long-term program, aiming to create sustainable impact within the community in the years to come.
This successful Place-Based model is designed to serve as a long-term framework that can be implemented in additional communities across Israel’s social and geographic periphery.

2. Advancing STEM Education and Technological Excellence in the Periphery

We believe that access to high-quality mathematical and technological education can open doors to future academic, professional, and personal opportunities, regardless of where students grow up. Expanding access to advanced STEM education and mathematical excellence programs in Israel’s social and geographic periphery is another important layer of Final’s long-term social impact activity.

Empowering 5-Unit Mathematics Teachers

To strengthen advanced mathematics education in the Western Negev, Final supports teachers participating in a professional certification program at Ben-Gurion University, preparing them to teach 5-unit mathematics.
By expanding the number of qualified teachers in the region, the program creates new opportunities for more students to access high-level mathematics studies and build a stronger foundation for future academic and technological paths.

Accelerated Mathematics Program for Talented Students

Together with Bar-Ilan University, Final supports an accelerated mathematics program for talented students from the Western Negev.
Through advanced studies, guidance, and mentorship from Final’s employees, students work toward completing their 5-unit mathematics matriculation exams as early as 10th grade, opening new opportunities for their academic and professional future.

Supporting Students on Their Journey to Science Olympiads

Final supports talented students from 18 schools across the Western Negev as they prepare for the selection process of Israel’s young science team, representing the country at the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO).
Through advanced training and a supportive learning environment, these students deepen their knowledge in chemistry, physics, and biology, while developing curiosity, independent thinking, and scientific excellence.

Inspiring the Next Generation

Throughout the year, Final hosts students from Israel’s social and geographic periphery, offering them a closer look into the world of technology, innovation, and career opportunities.
Through personal conversations, hands-on experiences, and meetings with Final’s employees, students gain a closer look at the tech industry and are encouraged to believe in their ability to shape their own future.

3. Influencing Environmental sustainability

We raise awareness and take action to promote overall energy efficiency and create a work environment and organizational culture that actively supports environmental sustainability:

We prioritize recycling, minimize the use of disposable dishes and employ various strategies to reduce our carbon footprint resulting from computer power consumption.

We actively seek opportunities to contribute to the development of renewable energy in Israel. Our distinctive partnership with "The Good Energy Initiative" involves Final supporting and assisting numerous public institutions in installing solar panels on their roofs.

We collaborated with the Venatata Association, sponsoring the planting of 100,000 trees, and the establishment of a community therapeutic gardens in Mizpe Yam, Herzliya.

4. Data For Good

Using data to support smarter decision-making and create meaningful social impact is another growing pillar of Final’s social impact activity. As a company that works with large-scale data and advanced analytical infrastructure every day, we believe these capabilities can also help strengthen local communities and public systems across Israel’s periphery.

One of the main initiatives currently supported by Final focuses on accelerating data usage capabilities within local authorities in the Negev and Galilee.

By working together with regional municipalities, professional partners, and integrating the professional expertise of Final’s employees, the program helps local authorities build modern data infrastructure, improve data accessibility, and strengthen data-driven decision-making processes. By bringing technological expertise into the public and social spheres, this initiative aims to improve public services, address residents’ needs, and strengthen communities across Israel’s periphery.
